50 concrete eyes affixed to multicolored concrete pedestals that represent various ethnic cultures.

A permanent installation on Lyons Avenue and Worms Street, Fifth Ward, Houston, Texas.

(Tribute to the vision of Fifth Ward residents who did not give up when the area was in decline. The area is in the midst of a major redevelopment by Fifth Ward Redevelopment Corporation that commissioned the sculpture installation).

A permanent installation at E. O. Smith Education Center located in Fifth Ward, historically the lowest income neighborhood in Houston, Texas.

Artist, Bert L. Long Jr., his mother, brother, two sisters, his children as well as grandchildren have all attended this school.

This art project was commissioned by SPARK PARK, an art park initiative sponsored by the city.
