Houston, TX (August 20, 2004) -- Bert L. Long Jr., internationally known African-American artist whose work is in major museums and private collections is also noted for his signature huge, multicolored ice sculptures. Now, Bert will create a 5,000 lbs multicolored ice sculpture "Thin Ice" for an exhibition at the Contemporary Art Museum in Houston to be shown from January 21 - April 17, 2005.
